In October, “Survivors Speak-The Language of Survival” is an event that will be an opportunity for survivors and allies aged 18 and up to express themselves through spoken word. That can include poetry, spoken word, or short essays. Those who are interested may submit up to 2 pieces that, when read aloud, take no more than 2 minutes. To submit, click here or click above on CALL FOR AUTHORS.

ABOUT THE PROJECT.

This is a community-based art show that provides an opportunity for survivors of childhood sexual abuse to showcase their art in a supportive and empowering community space.

The art exhibit helps survivors on their journey to healing and recovery, and raises awareness of this issue.

About

OUR PURPOSE.

An inspiring event organized by Beth Bloom, Patricia Uleskey, Kim Brumber, and Leni Rayburn. This initiative began with the powerful realization of art's healing capabilities.

Our goal is to create a welcoming space where individuals can come together to experience this healing journey. Together, we aim to grow this movement from Rochester and Monroe County to a national level.
